Very disappointed. Went in to get my bike wheel fixed (loose gears attached to the wheel). Came back same day and was charged $45 and said the problem was the the hub was not fully attached so they need to tighten it. $45 for you to tighten it i said, oh boy did he make a big scene of it. "Took 45min to do, put bearings back on mate." I then go home put wheel back on have one ride same thing happens again so i take it back next day. He fixes again after 4 days being at the shop (didnt charge me). Go home to put it back on and nope wheel will not go on! 
Having had enough of this i go to Gove Bicycle and straight away amazing service, super polite and very quickly fixed it. Gove said that the wheel HUB bolts were put on backwards AND a bearing missing!!
Gove put it all back together for me, and even gave the brakes and gears a tune up for less then the price Bicycle Centre charged me for just the wheel alone.

Rude customer service, well over priced and didn't even fix the job
Sorry i had to write this but people need to know.

Thanks to David for getting my bike looking like new again after a car ran into it. He managed to get it back on the road again quickly despite having to deal with the insurance company. David and Adam's straight forward and friendly approach makes dealing with them a positive experience.

I have had some unfortunately negative experiences.

Passing through Ballarat on Saturday, needed an emergency repair, rang ahead with only about an hour before closing time.  David and Adam provided professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fast service at a very good price.  

Couldn't recommend them higher if you're in Ballarat - and the store dog is very friendly too!  Good blokes.

I've bought several bikes here over the years. Always good timely service, flexible approach and not at all pushy. Happy to work with my budget and preferences.
