Why even have a contact phone and 'office hours' when you're incapable of answering? Have tried multiple times over the day to make contact, not once has the phone been answered. Dissapointed and more than mildly irritated. Now seeking elsewhere for my accommodation.

When the hostel is full or almost, the owner does't care about new coming people , he not even open the door to them and he prefer drinking with the guests. I remember about a guy who came by bike from Launceston,under the rain, who couldn't go into the hostel because the owner was drinking and he didn't want to meet people.

hostel was alright, owner was nice, the work situation wasn't too good, to be honest. showers go for 4 minutes then there's a 2 minute break after which you can go again. kitchen was crowded in the evening. only 2 computers, no wifi. met a lot of great people there and there is dart and billiard. just a few words of advise: if you intend to rent a car, to get to work or whatsoever, DO NOT rent with tassie car rentals, it literally took them 2 month to transfer our 500 dollar deposit back and we had to conatct our lawyer, just so other people do not fall for these scammers. we were under 21 and they seemed like out only option, which we regretted deeply afterwards

worst staff ever, stayed there 4 months and worked 15 days, definitely not a "working" hostel. the owner lies to you saying you will work soon but the majority had to wait 5/6 weeks !!! before we ever worked. does not seem that the owner has your interest at hart but his own. Would never suggest to ANYONE to go there.
