We dropped by this department store for some home furnishings and found what we needed at reasonable prices. They have a large variety of items on sale from apparel to toys, stationery, gifts, home necessities and more. We managed to get the items we needed here.
Racist StaffnnI've been going to target belconnen for a long time and had no issues with any staff. But a few days ago a female staff standing near the exit stopped me and asked for my receipt quite harshly. So I showed her the receipt and she asked to see my jeans. I don't know how she knew that I bought jeans?! But anyway she kept making excuses that she needs to see it as there might be tags inside, which will buzz when going out. I showed her the jeans and there were no tags, also she could have checked if the alarm went off, not before. She did say sorry after that. But she didn't stop anyone else leaving the store It was just me, so it felt a bit racist.

One of the best store in Canberra. It’s big and the staffs are friendly. The shops are always full. The girl in the checkout was quite nice as she helped me in packing. One of the very clean store and well maintained. Self checkout adds up a plus point as well
I visited the store this morning and on the way out I heard a voice call 'Hey, Mate'. I turned around and the female greeter was gesturing with her hand for me to return to her. I went back and she said 'Bag check'. I politely explained that the word 'please' might be appropriate. She responded with 'Yep'. I again suggested a 'please' and she finally complied. I showed her the contents of my cotton bag and she again said 'Yep'. I think a 'Thank You' might have been in order. Not a good experience.
