Staff not helpful. My husband and I tested ourselves the fans trying to find the best one. We did a good job. No one came to the rescue. Even when there were some staff around "busy". Also at checkout we had to wait several minutes before someone came. The products they have are of great quality, but I will prefer to go to a place with better customer service.

The newly-refurbished David Jones in Canberra City makes for a lovely shopping experience, if that's the sort of thing you consider to be an experience. It's nice and light, with many different zones that blend into each other really well so it makes for excellent browsing.

Shoe department , neither sales assistant could get off their mobiles phones. Stood at each counter, one with the phone under the glass and one not even trying to be discreet. Did not bother to ask any customer if they needed help. Then both walked off. Disgusting.

I love David Jones , A big improvement of stock compared to previous years. The main problem is that , they need more D.Js staff that knows there produce. I have been in the store many time's to ask questions about an item or to pick things up that was on hold and to tell me it wasn't there (and it was). Some staff have NO idea about the products of what information that I needed to know.

Selection of goods is great. Some staff are very helpful, others just talk to each other and point you towards the section where your items are.
