What a mess. They must be struggling for staff as there were virtually no staff in the store - on a Wednesday! Shelves were empty, messy and large stock carts were blocking aisles. No one anyone to ask questions and hardly any staff on the checkouts. I was surprised as I've never seen a Kmart like this before. Went to Big W and complete opposite with clean aisles, stock arranged neatly and plenty of staff around to help out.
Kmart in Gungahlin is excellent! The store is clean and well-stocked with a wide variety of products at great prices. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. It's my go-to place for affordable shopping. Highly recommend for a pleasant and hassle-free experience!
Kmart Gungahlin is a good place to shop if you need anything reasonably priced for home. They stock kitchen items, bathroom and bedroom items as well as clothes, shoes, kids stuff and active wear.nnQuite frequently there are special markdown items at the front of the store just as you come in. Tonight, there were a number of girls dresses and boys jumpers for $2 each. I have also seen adult clothes on the markdown section for really cheap.nnThe other thing that's quite popular is the print centre, where you can have photos printed onto all sorts of mediums including mugs, calendars, magnets and photo books. All reasonably priced as well however the quality is sometimes a bit hit and miss depending on the person printing and the state of their printer!nnEdit: Kmart stopped allowing customers in at least 3 minutes before the store closed. Really disappointing, should say opening hours only until 9:57!
OK, I'm quickly becoming a Kmart fan. Some of the prices are amazingly low, and the quality isn't poor. They generally have a good range in lines like clothing, shoes, and housewares. of course they're cutting corners like everyone else with self-checkout and not a ton of staff, so that part could be better, but I really like it for basic clothing items and party goods, just to start with. I haven't bought any art supplies yet but I will cos those look great and are also pretty inexpensive. Not at the level of US Target but what is?!
I ordered a number of items through click and collect and picked them up today. When I unpacked them at home, the Jogger Jeans item number #69725418 have large filthy marks on them. I have tried to phoned KMart but no-one answers the phone. Disgusting. It's now a 90km round trip for me to take them back. Where is the quality control? Anyone getting click and collect, open and check your items before going home!
