This is more of a complaint about the Sydney Tools business model. Thanks to Jayden for trying to assist. I returned the head of a Dewault Line Trimmer. They serviced it and said there was nothing wrong with it. The service bloke said it was user error. He also claimed the line was larger then 2.4mm. Obviously Stihl can't label their line thickness correct then because that is what it said on the packet. I've used multiple heads on these things for years. Funnily enough a generic head worked perfectly. Most places wouldn't bother arguing about a part like a whipper snipper head but Sydney Tools won't take it back and make you go through the rep for Dewault. They wouldn't replace it either. Hopeless. If I return anything at Bunnings they just take it back and they deal with the companies. Neither of these companies obviously don't want my business as it's more important to save money on a $30 piece of throw away equipment.
I have been meaning to put this up for the Nersng store shortly after Christmas night. The team at Nerang, Nick, Dane and the rest of the staff were getting smashed with people looking for generators. The staff attitude and customer service was exemplary from the start of the day till close. I take my hat off to all of you for what was clearly a very stressful, non stop day and the demeaner of you all never changed. Great service guys. Thank you.
Great customer service and phone support from Michael. Their store location didn't have the product in stock but he helped me get it sorted quickly and easily.
