Sunset Road Family Doctors

The worst experience, never go there again. A few months ago, I brought my baby (NZ resident) to NZ and enrolled him for taking necessary vaccine. As advised by the GP, the GP(she) would arrange somebody to translate the vaccine records taken in other country and inform us if any further vaccine required. I waited 2 months without any feedback then ring back, the nurse told me they couldn’t translate it. Then I translated it and wrote down all the vaccines and the date my boy taken, passed the translation result to the reception (due to the nurse was busy) and the receptionist put the note on it for passing it to the nurse. I ring the nurse in 2 weeks, the nurse told me she couldn’t find any translation records under my boy name and she would check it with the reception. I got the call after a while from the nurse saying she found the translation result but she needs me to go to the clinic to explain the result to her. What a messy place and irresponsible people! They just simply let you wait and wait…. The management is totally in confusion, won’t visit there any more.

Good service! As new parents we felt that it was important to have good doctors that could tell us when our baby needed medical help and when she was doing ok by herself. Its rare to find doctors or nurses that don't force things on new parents when they are actually not really required - we didn't feel the pressure here! They text us when they feel vaccinations or checks are due without obligation.

Could be a lot better. The doctor doesn't let you time to explain your feeling and cut through all your sentence without any politeness. Send you back home with nothing but headache pills and ask you to come back if sickness doesn't go better. So paying again. Only "good" part would be the reception. Nice and friendly.

Great family practice, really nice receptionists, all staff make you feel welcome. Nurses are really great and know their stuff. Great variety of doctors. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient at this practise for many years and have always enjoyed the treatment I have been given. The receptionists are friendly and the nurses and doctors are personal and do not watch the clock like I have experienced in Europe. I know this means that they might not always run exactly on time but it also means that they have your interest at heart and that is what I would like to expect from a doctor. Keep up the great work.
