Luckens Road Medical Centre is now Hobsonville Family Doctors!

Story

On the 11th April 2016, Luckens Road Medical Centre will become Hobsonville Family Doctors. We are easy to find on 124 Hobsonville Road, on the first floor of the new building in front of the new Countdown.

Everything will be brand new and will feature 4 GP clinic rooms and 3 nursing areas. There will be no change to our fantastic team of Doctors, but Dr Torrance Merkle has joined the practice permanently (in December 2015). Nurses June and Sarah are moving on to new opportunities. We are pleased to welcome Brenda (our new nurse manager), Adrienne and Kimberley to the nursing team. Abby and Maureen will remain on reception, and will be joined by Avalon.

There is a Pharmacy, Physiotherapist and Podiatrist conveniently located in the same building. There is a big lift, mobility access and disabled parking at our front door, and plenty of free parking available outside.

Our opening hours are extending until 7pm Monday to Thursday (5:30pm on Friday), and in the near future we will be offering limited appointments on Saturday mornings.

To facilitate the move, we will be closing at lunchtime on Friday 8th April (however you will still be able to reach us by phone until the end of the day). We will be busy moving and setting up that weekend, ready to open on Monday 11th April. There will be limited appointments available with Dr Joanne Shooter on the first Monday morning, so we can make sure we're all set for the rest of the week.
