VERY large camp ground that is on the coast and absolutely stunning. There is a little creek on the property where you can also camp along if you don't want to be on the ocean side. There are tracks all around starting from the campground so you can easily do some day walks while you're there. There are toilet and shower facilities. The place is well looked after by the resident DOC rangers. They come around every evening to check the facilities are running well and people are happy. It's not a very busy campground as it's a bit of a mission to get to via very windy gravel roads far out in the Coromandel. Worth it!

Great camping ground. Mature trees provide a good shade; facilities very good, managers helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back next time in Coromandel.

Well managed, clean facilities. Located on a beautiful beach and surrounded by walkways. About a 45min gravel road to get to the camp.

This place is amazing. Loop tramp can be done in a day, two days if you want a rest and camp at the other end.

Great beach with all the best stones. Please don't take more than one stone home per person
