Great place for access to most of the best fishing spots at the top of the Coromandel. Nice facilities at a good price.

This is a great setting. I visited 20 years ago and the scenery remains the same. Beautiful. This is a fisherman's place. You may well encounter groups of men keen on catching fish, drinking beer and generally 'playing up.' We were on a family get away, joined in, caught fish, ate fish, talked about fish and had fun. The hosts were great, the accomodation is a bit cosy, but there are plenty of facilities, sky TV, limited WiFi etc.. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days. The chartered fishing day was unforgettable. The girls pulled in some big fish. A day they will never forget. Appropriately named.

Great location, fantastic hosts but avoid unit 12 until they get air con as its unbearable.
