We recently stayed at this holiday park for our family vacation, and while there were a few positives, the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations given the costs. Water was consistently hot, which was a nice touch after a long day, and there were extra activities available to keep the kids entertained, offering a good variety of options for everyone.nHowever, there were several downsides. The strict rules, though understandable, detracted from the relaxed atmosphere we were hoping for. The park felt cramped, with limited space and crowded common areas. Additionally, the unisex toilets near the campsites and cabins were inconvenient, and privacy could have been better. Given the cost, we didn’t feel it offered enough value, as the experience felt rather generic and didn’t live up to the price tag.nnOverall ok but would not recommend for larger groups or night owls.
We had the best time at the Coromandel Tasman Holiday Park. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Kids had a blast on the jumping pillow and in the pool. The go karts for hire were a lot of fun. Nice and central with a few minute walk to town. Only recommendation would be more hooks in the cabins to keep floor space free! Will happily visit again :
‍‍ATTENTION ALLnDONOT RENT OUT DELUX CABINS!!!!nmy family and I were looking to have 6 days to relax and unwind but we're rudely checked, by the staff members there. Especially the old lady who lives in the camping area. We were told to be in our cabins by 10pm and silenced like kids when we were literally talking in our normal speaking volume. Like we had to whisper after 10pm to communicate. It felt like we were in a retirement village, rather a family HOLIDAY HOME! we were told every night to quiet down. Which is hard to do when the camping ground is right outside our cabin. And the walls and floors of those cabins are paper thin. Even walking normally made a sound that was complained about. On naers eve, we got a message saying we could speak in normal and for us islanders, we were silenced before so. There were neighbors who came unannounced to our cabin area that were making so much noise, which we kindly asked the to be quiet for the noise complaints, and the old lady then addressed us in an unprofessional manner and demanded us to return inside our cabins or 'were out '. She needs to retire and let somebody who has patience and understanding and is professional, to take over her job! The worst staff I've ever come across ever! I felt on edge. I felt discrimination, I felt no peace what so ever! And we paid over $5000 to be there. I will be making a complaint to higher authorities no doubt about that!!! RACIST ALERT!!
Had an easy stay here in a non-powered campsite. Easy process for late check in and good toilets / showers. Great starting point for rides around the northern tip of the Coromandel!
We enjoyed our stay here, very clean, professional, felt safe and comfortable. The little place we stayed was virtually a tiny house, like a bed and some space and that's it, it was pretty small but it was comfortable. Also, they shared bathrooms were a little weird, but they do have gender-specific bathrooms that work. Very knowledgable hosts, and the location in coromandel is great, but I think i'd want to be more in Whangapoua where all the action is - not a ton to do in Coromandel town,
