Driving Creek

This is the second time coming here. Such a great experience. Hand made train and tracks that take you up to the eye full tower. Such a beautiful history behind why it was made and the share will of one man to make his dreams come to life. First time I went I was lucky enough to meet him and talk about his love for the area. Unfortunately since then he has passed away. But his legacy lives on. The tour guides tell his story very well. Would highly recommend

My mom and I loved our visit to Driving Creek. Perfect place to stop while traveling through the area. Quirky and beautiful and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little train ride, through dense tropical rain forest to wide reaching views over Coromandle town, harbour, the bay and islands. Very interesting story of its originator and construction told along the way by very engaging driver.

Great attraction. Well worth the visit just to be able to appreciate the effort of the amazing man who built the railway. The amazing scenery and views of Hauraki Gulf are the cream on top.

A curious little gem Combining Barry Brickell love of pottery with his willingness for a challenge. Great insights into.the forest and the area .Curious sculptures and construction spotted through.the bush. These gave added charm to the experience.
