Nice park with good range of birds. We couldn't try the train as it was wet when we went. Had a kids play area and bikes to ride. The ride to the park from main road is bumpy but worth visiting.

Though it is advertised as a place for tourists to stay, it offers no WiFi and a lot of mosquitoes. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with children as they will obtain mosquito bites all over their face overnight. It also gets 3 children all sleeping in one room. The only positives are comfortable beds and proximity to tourist destinations.

We booked a room in this place on Christmas eve because most hotels & motels in Whitianga were all booked out. The best decision we've ever made! This place is so serene & peaceful, just what we needed to get away from the busy city life for a while. They have a separate kitchen & bathroom which are very well-maintained. You can also use their outdoor grills for bbq and plenty of space for campers. The view is amazing with hills around the area, there's a creek/river nearby where you can take a dip. What I loved the most were the farm animals! Kids would definitely enjoy feeding & petting the donkeys, horses, ducks and ponies. Different kind of birds would be your alam clock in the morning. :) Will definitely go back to this place to relax & unwind.
