Brought car in for strut mount R & R and alignment. They found the left side ball joint needed replacing which was fair enough and will use a new control arm. They confirmed that they will replace the bushes with premium SuperPro bushing which is the same as what is on the car throughout. I was pleased with that, that they noted what bushes was already on the car. When I picked up the car I was told "good to go"....... but there was a heavy knock when steering to the left. I was told to see if it rights itself over the weekend and let them know. I had a quick look over the weekend and noticed that the new bushes were NOT SuperPro as promised but cheap rubber bushes. I took the car back, advised that the knock is still there and they did not install SuperPro bushes as agreed..... They advised that will check it out and advise. The car came back with no knock, the correct bushes which was great but the steering wheel was about 45degrees to the right which concerned me. I decided to take the car to get a second opinion the following day. On the way there the car started to make a screeching sound from the front end area....!! On inspection they found that the coil spring drivers side was misaligned and both front wheel bearings were over-tightended causing the bearings to "burn" creating the screeching sound. They aligned the coil spring, replaced the wheel bearings and did a wheel alignment. The car is now 100% Never ever will I take or recommend work to Springwood Car Care again!!

Gerard and the team at Springwood car care have been servicing our cars for years. I have found them very professional and reasonably priced. A good family business that always seem to go the extra mile.
