Today I am so impressed by the staff who is an Asian lady works in curtain section .Her friendly approach made me feel comfortable, she really listened to what I was looking for give recommendation to me and explanation was clear and concise. Thank you for her assistance to help me find the perfect solution. She is a valuable asset to Spotlight.
Wide variety of items available to fulfil home needs. From bedsheets to kitchen utensils, clocks, curtains, loose cloth to stitch your own clothes. The location is excellent. The store is huge. You will definitely find what you need for your home.nThe carpark has always some spots available for parking.nThey have introduced self checkouts as well but I would prefer for staff to serve purely due to size of items.nThe staff is super friendly and helpful.nLots of specials on items. Ensure you are a member of their club to avail the discounts. The entrance is welcoming and store is well presented.
We went today to pick out 3 sets of curtains for a new build and we're so impressed with June's service and expertise. We thought we could get through it ourselves but quickly realised that we would have been there for hours deciding and probably overspending or getting unsuitable products. June is such an asset to the team and showed what excellent customer service looks like. The department was clean and tidy and easy to navigate.
Friday 4th January 2025. We went to get a few Christmas jingle bells for our craft project. Couldn't find them so asked a spotlight attendant who was in the lace sewing section. I asked do u have jingle bells and she said buckles. I said no bells ding dong. Then she said go ask front counter i only know my own aisles. All Christmas items are sold out. I said u don't have any product knowledge of the other rows. She just walked away. We found the jingle bells ourselves and beads. About to leave and showed the lady attendant these are the bells which you have plenty. Why doesn't spotlight hire staff who understands what the stock is called or if they are in stock. This woman was rude to me and didn't know anything about crafts or how to help. I love spotlight but you need to do more training before you let her out to the public. She probably needs to be working in stockroom or loading packing out back warehouse . But she wasn't good at customer service or thinking buckles are bells? She definitely didn't want to engage in any customer service.
Great wide range if art and craft gifting and house hold daily use items.nGood knitting variety store.nGreat place to buy tailoring materials.nHobby sites and party items available in store.nSmall range if kitchen utensils available.nGreat staff with good knowledge. Ample parking space wheel chair access.nKeep up store.
