Spice lounge Indian Restaurant offers a fine dinning feeling restaurant with both inside and outside dinning with all our modern dishes whichare made on site daily using 100% natural ingredients sourced from a combination of local markets and suppliers. Restaurant portrays a stunning picture when looking through the boats masts and rigging and up into the surrounding Launceston suburbs and onto the Tamar river. Every table has a marina view.

Dinner with 3 friends, ordered 3 mains, fish curry, butter prawns and beef vindaloo, 1 garlic and 1cheese and spinach naan and 2 steamed rice. More than enough for 4 people and just under $25 per person. The service was just wonderful and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really inviting and relaxing. I will definitely be eating here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine here in Launceston
A very good Indian restaurant at Launceston. Definitely a must visit place.nnThe staff are very friendly and always eager to provide the best possible customer service.nnComing to food, except for Dal Makhni, we loved everything. The lentils were a bit uncooked in the Dal Makhni, otherwise taste wise it was yum. All other food options were tasty and portions adequate.nnIf you happen to be in or around Launceston, do add this place as one of your must visit locations.
Excellent indian cuisine you won’t be disappointed, it was recommended by a uber driver. He is Indian.nDecent portions, chicken biryani little bit spicy , everything good we enjoyed the meal very much.
Truly a gem! We love our Indian crusine and Spice Lounge did not disappoint.nnWe asked for Asian spice level and lets just say it was a little more than a kick, more than what we expected and hands down one of the best indian I had in years.nnAbsolutely enjoyed the Hangover Chicken and Goat Curry. All the food was served hot and the view is stunning. Staff was extremely patience and intentive. We will be back.
The atmosphere was fantastic, beautiful and absolutely authentic. Beautiful staff and wonder service. I'm very particularly about my Indian cuisine, as I have very deep folded connections with my heritage. The spice lounge charmed me beyond what I could imagine. Food is genuinely lit with beautiful flavours and amazing taste. I loved the butter chicken with naan and the authentic lamb Rogan. Superb and just perfectly cooked with that branded touch of spice house spice. I'm looking forward to another authentic experience soon.
