F*ing awesome ribs and slaw. Great staff providing table service. Make a  bookingessential if you want the ribs. The woman that took our booking came out to see us to take orders. Ribs by the 400 & 800g, recommend 800 for those with appetite. The sauce is not your stock-standard BBQ, but a really good BBQ/relish and great side of sauce for dipping. Brisket was a little dry but didn't matter when you grab it with the refreshing slaw and mac and cheese side. 10 out of 10 will come again when back in tassie.

Wow. Shared a platter with my wife. It was a very meat-centric meal, which suits us just fine. It was all delicious. Had the most tender chicken breast I've ever tasted. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket and sausage - all wonderful. Staff were extremely friendly.

Being from the South in the USA, this was a complete surprise. Ordered the meat platter with brisket, pulled pork, sausage and chicken. Came with 2 sides, and chose the Mac & Cheese and the Onion Rings.  Everything was phenomenal and could easily pass at any top shelf southern bbq restaurant! Highly recommended.

Welcoming friendly service from the team at Rusty Jack's. They ran out of the Brisket so I ordered their Ribs and boy were they tasty as f***, awesome marinade with just the right amount of southern sweetness as to not feel like ur only eating bbq sauce.  Their delicious cheesy hotlink sausage was the most generous offering I've had from any southern bbq joint. If ur in Launceston, this place is MUST! Delish~ Will defiantly go back.

In town for the first time went to check out our Tamar river cruise departure point, thought we'd have dinner at the bowlo...closed. tried the RSL also closed spotted Rusty Jack's best meal we have had in Tassie. The shared platter was all fantastic especially the Ribs ....wow big ups to whoever does the smoking. Our waitress was a joy and super efficient. Thanks to all concerned and absolutely great value maybe the cheapest  dinner for two with drinks since we hit Tassie but absolutely the best.

Im not sure what I enjoyed more. The great Southern fare or the benchmark service. Its non-negotiable. You must eat here full stop.

Service was mediocre. The food was predominantly meat with either fried or pickled sides. I don't think I'll be returning.

The food is AMAZING!  The service is first rate from Roz! We will be back, with a vengeance!!!

Great staff and wonderful tasty food. Would definitely go again.
