My favourite place to go and I am sure other members feel the same. The gym has enough space, people are nice, very good equipment. Very good pool, nice warm water but just the right temperature for swimming laps. I love the steam room and enjoy the hot pool with water massage every morning. And the possibility to open the door and go to fresh air or cool down in the sea after coming from the steam room is fantastic and definitely not so common in other places. Plus, the views both from the pool and the gym are fantastic - overlooking the promenade and beach. Watching the sea water just helps you to go on with your workouts. It is fair to say that the change rooms upstairs are better equipped than those at the pool, though. And if there are many people, the bottom ones are not really clean sometimes. But if you sign up for membership, you get to use the upper ones which are very nice. Despite there are always ideas for improvements (like everywhere), 5 stars from me and a sincere recommendation to everyone.

Worst customer service, nothing but disappointment and regret from this company. Wish I'd read all the other reviews before signing up!

We love being members. The pool has a unique water and filtration system, using both sea water pumped in from the beach and fresh water with a low chlorine base. Great if you have sensitive skin. Staff are good and amenity is extensive. Always soap in showers.....it's the little things that count! Gym is one of the best around. Yoga 10/10.

To say that this organization has a PR problem is to only see the tip of the iceberg. I was completely upfront, honest, and willing to work with the gym on a resolution after an injury I incurred playing sports. However, the membership team took me for a ride spanning multiple in-person conversations, over the phone conversations, and dozens of emails just to get fair treatment. Not only that, the conversations I had were not well documented if at all by the staff. So please if you speak with someone regarding ANYTHING about your member, then confirm everything twice and get it in writing. This is crucial. Get it in writing or type it up yourself in an email to confirm what you agreed upon and possibly cc someone else at the health club on it to ensure it gets done. It's so disappointing because I really liked SPHC gym, classes, and pool. However people buy from people and I won't work with people who disrespect my time and money. Buyer beware...

Cancelled my application after 7 days due to a temporary change of circumstances, Gym management were not understanding and enforced the cancellation fee even though I was only 2 days over the cooling off period and I had only used the gym once. Rules are rules and I understand that but if they had any kind of customer service they would of understood my situation and waived the fee as I told them I would be returning to the area in a couple of months. There are plenty of other gyms in the area with more favourable contracts and at much lower prices too. Do your research first.
