Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to build your confidence in the water, or an experienced swimmer wanting to improve your stroke, now is the time to call and enroll in one of the following classes:

Learn to Swim (Ages 3-16)
Aqua Babe Classes ( 6 – 36 months)
Adult Stroke Correction
Adult Beginners
Adult Intermediate
Intense Learn to swim holiday program


Our Learn-to Swim program at our beach location in St Kilda offers one of the best aqua babe programs in the state.

Each Swim School term runs concurrent with the Victorian public school terms. Swimming lessons are run by qualified and caring instructors with a duration of 30 minutes each week.

Overall lessons, provide students with the opportunity to develop water safety and survival skills while enjoying the benefits of the natural sea salt waters.

The water is derived directly from the sea, then filtered and heated to a soothing temperature for lessons.

The views are gorgeous, especially during sunset! The service is great and the food is good too. If you just wanna chill and enjoy a drink they have a great outdoor setting and some nights live music.
Great morning with a nice walk on the beautiful pier, followed up by a friendly chat with the barista at the cafe. Good coffee and tasty food too.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at St Kilda Sea Baths on 22 May at approximately 4:00 PM.nnMy wife and her sister were subjected to what appeared to be a racist and deeply humiliating incident while swimming in the slow lanes. During their swim, my wife’s sister accidentally dropped something to the bottom of the pool, and my wife was briefly diving down to retrieve it. Once she finally managed to pick it up, an older white woman standing outside the pool suddenly began aggressively yelling at her, repeatedly shouting “You’re in the wrong lane!” loud enough for the entire pool to stop and stare.nnMy wife tried explaining that she was only retrieving the item, but this woman refused to listen and continued yelling in an extremely hostile and unnecessary manner. What made the situation worse was the response from the young woman lifeguard on duty at the time. Instead of de-escalating the situation or supporting someone who was clearly being publicly harassed, she sided with the aggressor and also told my wife she was in the wrong lane.nnThis was particularly upsetting because my wife has been swimming at St Kilda Sea Baths for over 10 years and is very familiar with the swimming etiquette there. Additionally, one of the neighbouring lanes was empty, making the woman’s aggressive reaction even more unreasonable and targeted.nnWhat was especially disappointing was that another swimmer in a neighbouring lane showed more compassion and professionalism than the staff on duty. This kind patron offered to swap lanes with my wife and her sister so they would not have to continue dealing with the aggressor. Instead of receiving support from the lifeguard, they received support from another customer at the establishment.nnAfter causing a scene, the woman swam for only a very short time before leaving entirely. When my wife later approached the lifeguard to ask whether she had actually made a mistake so that she would not repeat it in the future, the lifeguard admitted that the aggressive woman had in fact overreacted. The lifeguard also implied that this woman is apparently a repeat offender at St Kilda Sea Baths, which makes it even more concerning that this kind of behaviour is being tolerated and allowed to continue.nnThat is not acceptable conduct from staff responsible for safety and conflict management. A lifeguard’s role is to de-escalate situations and protect patrons, not enable abusive behaviour because it is easier.nnThe entire incident left my wife feeling humiliated, targeted, and unsupported. St Kilda Sea Baths should be a welcoming place for everyone, and I expect far better professionalism and accountability from staff. I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and ensures that incidents like this are handled far more appropriately in the future.
I was extremely disappointed with the.Seabaths today. . My friend and I went there for some injury therapy in the hot spa pool . What I found was people stayed in front of the jets longer than the 10 minutes as the signage requested. This 10 minute limit is so that everyone can use the spa jets and get the benefits of them. While we were there 4 people didnt move from the jets for at least 30- 35 minutes and one lady was still in front of the same jet when I left 45 minutes later. There was no supervision of this even though there was a staff member sitting at a desk at the end of the pool who seemed consumed with paperwork, not supervision. After exiting the pool I proceeded to have a shower only to find there is only one small hook on the back of the door and no bench on which to place dry clothes. The water from the shower next to mine was running across my floor so I couldnt put anything on there. The water was icy cold coming from the shower even through I let it run for 5-7 minutes. I also thought it was expensive for what I got. $15.00 entry, $3.00 for a locker and $10,00 parking. Very poor experience and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
