The hotel is new, well kept, staff is great and the views amazing. Most of all it’s comfortable, well appointed, well maintained, nice layout of all amenities, entrances, extremely clean and a super convenient location. Have stayed in many hotels world wide but was still blown away to be honest. Stayed in one of the rooms with a full view of darling harbour and that was amazing. Breakfast was okay, but required a bit more variety for the price being charged. Coffee was amazing. What ever food was there was great just needs variety. Staff was present when needed and not intrusive. Turn down done on time and rooms were very well maintained. 4-5 years is when usually hotels start showing age, BUT none of that here. Well done. Amazing stay.
From arrival as a Platinum Accor member - I so appreciated the 5 star experience, particularly giving 5 stars to all the staff for making this possible.nFrom being able to check-in a little early, to be given an upgraded room, all combined to make my stay so special.nThe room, beautifully appointed, had outstanding city views and out to the Anzac Bridge. Prefer this to the Darling Harbour view with the current construction happening in the Darling Harbour precinct.nMy treatment as a solo traveller in Club Millesime was always so attentive despite the fact it can get very busy.nFinally the housekeeping staff kept my room immaculate and was such a pleasure to return to each day.nThe light rail is right outside the hotel making easy access to all parts of the city.nI most certainly will be looking forward to my return visit.
I had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Darling Harbour. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, and the city view was absolutely stunning. The weather was perfect, which made enjoying the outdoor pool even better—the view from there was amazing.nnA special mention to Soizic at check-in—she was incredibly helpful and so lovely, making the arrival experience smooth and welcoming.nnI truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.
My stay was wonderful from start to finish. I had a beautiful suite on the 15th floor that was sumptuous, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, with absolutely stunning views over the harbour. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the buffet breakfast was exceptional — easily one of the highlights. An outstanding experience all round.
Had another outstanding stay at the Sofitel in Darling Harbour in Sydney. We always stay at the Sofitel, even though there are a myriad of options in Sydney. We were upgraded as loyal clients to a corner suite and it was outstanding! Stayed for 3 weeks last year and this year a week as well. Cannot recommend highly enough! Even the light rail stops feet from the door making getting around Sydney extremely easy!
