Our family recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, and the experience was simply outstanding! We chose a suite with a view of Darling Harbour, and it was pure delight. The view of the harbor was breathtaking and made our mornings and evenings so memorable – exactly what you need for a relaxing and enjoyable trip.nnBreakfast was a real highlight, thanks to Chef Roman, who made the most delicious omelets. Our daughter is quite picky with food, but Roman’s attention to detail made a difference; he prepared whipped egg whites just for her, and she loved it. Roman wasn’t just a talented chef – he was a genuinely kind, friendly person who paid attention to each guest and was always ready to help. Even though we previously lived in Sydney for five years, Roman recommended some new, interesting spots to visit, which we enjoyed exploring. It was such a pleasure to rediscover our beloved city through his suggestions.nnThis hotel truly felt like a home away from home, with its attention to detail and genuine care for guests. Our family was completely thrilled with the stay, and we look forward to visiting again. I envy anyone who has yet to meet Roman and discover this wonderful hotel. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Sydney, for an amazing stay and unforgettable memories!
We stayed for a week in a king harbour view room. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, bed linen, towels etc clean and in perfect condition, housekeeping was really polite and attentive. Check in and check out was simple quick and professional, breakfast was amazing, the buffet was kept restocked and had an incredible selection we had the continental. The view from our room was so beautiful, the block out curtains were fantastic and we didn't get any noise from the city or cars etc. Some small repair/maintenance needed to be done in the bathroom which they are aware of, but very minor and did not effect our stay at all. Overall 10/10 would recommend.
We stayed at Hyatt Regency during our vacation to Sydney- excellent location, great service right from the receptionists, bell boys to room service folks .we had the harbor view room and it was a joy to sit in the balcony and see the bay and the boats every morning. The hotel is a short walk away from all tourist spots and a 5 min walk to the light tram. Even had a parrot visit me at the balcony! Very clean rooms, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds and stylish hotel. Definitely recommend.
This is not a 5-star hotel. Pictures are absolutely stretched for marketing. The harbour view king room is tiny. There is no space to put a luggage bag. Wardrobe is very small. It doesn't fit long dress. Room spray smells unpleasant like the one from public toilets. The airconditioner smells mouldy. It might be why they spray so much room spray. The shower is dirty. There were hairs stuck on the wall. Towels are so worn out,so look like rags. Water pressure is weak. The table has stains, and there are unknown short curly hair everywhere. At least reception staff are helpful for the refund processing, and the housekeeping manager is trying to make it better. Maybe it is suitable for a one night business trip as a 3.5-star hotel. Not recommended for personal relaxing hotel. I don't recommend wasting over $550 per night here
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment I requested a change in my reservation dates, the staff were incredibly helpful, handling everything with efficiency and without any hassle. Upon arrival, the experience continued to impress, as the hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The entire property is immaculately maintained, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment throughout our stay. The reception staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, immediately making us feel at home, while the rest of the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs with genuine attentiveness.nnThe rooms are not only stylish and modern, but also thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The beds, in particular, were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. Every detail was perfectly arranged, creating a relaxing atmosphere that was ideal for a family getaway. With such outstanding service and a wonderful experience overall, I am certain we will be returning to the Hyatt Regency in the future.
