My best friend and I had an awesome night at Ibis. The atmosphere was great, and the DJ came on at the perfect time after our cocktails. The bartender was really friendly, made amazing drinks, and there was no wait time.nnThe highlight of the night was definitely the food. I didn’t realise they served such delicious dishes. It honestly felt like fine dining. We ordered the tuna taco, karaage chicken, spring rolls, gyoza dumplings, and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly. The tuna taco melted in my mouth, the karaage was crispy and tender, and the dumplings were juicy and full of flavour.nnHuge credit to the chef. The food was incredible. I will definitely be back and will recommend Ibis to everyone. I’m even thinking about celebrating my next birthday there.
Overpriced. Very basic room with no amenities. These are self contained apartments, its not a hotel. You dont even get a coffee satchel for $380/night. No tea, no coffee, nothing. Completely bare room. The a/c is an old system that just blasts all night and is very loud for a 'hotel' room. You shouldnt be able to hear it. And to top it off, the staff couldnt find my luggage after i left it in lock up for a couple hours after checkout. Never again will I book this brand.
Stayed there for 2 weeks. Everything had been perfect. Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and very helpful; the room was clean; all the amenities worked; comfortable bed and never heard any noise from neighbours for the whole stay. Great location, within 10 minutes walk to all sorts of good food.nWhat more could you ask for.
A truly memorable stay for our wedding and honeymoon!nnWe stayed at Ibis Styles Sydney Central for almost 10 days last July 2025 for our wedding and honeymoon, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The location was perfect — close to train and bus stations, and easily walkable to George Street and many nearby attractions.nnThis trip was extra special to us for many reasons — it was our wedding trip, our first time traveling outside Asia, and our first time splurging on a hotel stay we usually stay in budget hotels or Airbnbs. And honestly, it was all worth it.nnCheck-in and check-out were smooth, and the lovely hotel staff even upgraded our room and treated us to free breakfasts on some days because we were long-staying guests — or maybe because they knew how special this trip was for us. Either way, we’re so grateful. Our room was made up almost daily which we weren’t used to!, and the room service food was amazing — I still remember the crispy fried enoki mushrooms and the huge servings every time we ordered!nnThe staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Once, I needed laundry soap and the duty manager not only provided it but also kindly showed me how to use the machine. I also loved having an ice machine conveniently available for my much-needed cold water fix!nnOn our wedding day, our photo and video team had no trouble accessing our room for the shoot — something that meant a lot to us because, where we’re from, there’s usually paperwork and permits involved for things like that. It was such a relief to just focus on the day without extra stress.nnSpecial thanks to Anj, Anmol, Sherida, and Bhawani for their warm hospitality and assistance throughout our stay. We’ll always look back at our wedding memories feeling grateful that we were so well-rested and cared for at Ibis Styles Sydney Central.nnWe highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney — for its location, comfort, service, and overall experience. We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next Sydney trip.
My friend and I missed our flight and had to make a last-minute booking around 7 AM. I called the hotel to ask if we could leave our luggage and wait somewhere until the 2 PM check-in time, and they kindly said yes.nnWhen we arrived and explained our situation, the receptionists on duty—Angelica and Cherry/Sherry—were incredibly understanding and allowed us to check in as early as 9 AM. We were so grateful for their kindness and flexibility, especially after a tiring morning. Big thanks to both of them for their outstanding service!nnThe hotel is in a great location, almost close to everything, and our room was clean and spacious. Would definitely consider staying here again when I'm back in Sydney!
