--Great price; get the round trip ticket for a bit of a discount - --Runs pretty much true to schedule; digital timetable at pickup location details the arrival time --Clean --Good option if your hotel is nearby --Even w/an early pickup, it wasn't too scary to wait alone in the dark for the bus. --The online info could be more helpful in terms of locating stops and determining pickup/departure times --At the airport, the cc device wasn't working; inconvenient to go to the ATM, though it's close; you could still miss a bus even if you hustle b/c it may be crowded --At the airport, there is pickup at both the domestic and international terminals
Catch an uber if there's 2 or more of you. Got on skybus circa midnight tonight after being advised by Jetstar crew that if you present your boarding pass you'll get a discount off the $18 per person rate. Presented boarding pass and was told rather sternly it doesn't count unless you use the kiosk at the terminal, which is closed. Makes sense. Except it actually doesn't. Also only accepts cash onboard. So a trip to an atm, a $3 surcharge if you're an overseas visitor and then $36 for 2 people to catch a bus to town. Uber x is $33-$44 for the same and uses whatever credit card you have on file. Getting the uber x over these guys next time round fo sure.
Absolutely shocking system having to change buses. It's difficult enough to put ones luggage into the high racks once, but to have to do it twice is disgraceful. Secondly the maps provided in the pamphlets are inaccurate and don't include Dominion road or Mt Eden Rd stops.
Don't use this stop. It was moved to 7001 early January and then the bus just brings you a little further on Queens street to catch another bus to Airport.
The Bus Stop is right outside the Sky Bus Booking office on Queen Street. Do not confuse it with the AT Bus Stop. It is slightly ahead of that.
The stop is hard to identify as a stop and there's no place nearby to get a ticket to go on the bus of you don't have a Hop card, the public transport pass in Auckland
Expensive for a bus, uncomfortable seats, too hot inside, wifi doesn't work well, and they have painted over most of the window meaning that you can't even see out properly.
A shuttle infrequent to the main bus with no info. Club together to get an uber or cab to make the pain go away.
The service is great. The free WiFi is terrible. Wouldn't even load a FB photo.
Not here anymore - u can only take the transfer shuttle up queens street to civic centre and catch the skybus.
