From airport 17 dollar i came to here. From here to Tauranga i bought ticket 44 dollar. The bus must to come 17:45 but 1 hour delayed. But thats okay. In office workers so lovely people. Girl and boy they bring to us water and too many times said “sorrry sorrry bus little bit late but so soon coming” thats was nice. Thank u guys
Always good service, prices are pretty cheap. Drivers are using a lot more te reo which was awesome to hear and see when coming home from overseas.
It was really nice taking the bus, a lot s of space and luggages compartments. Having forgotten my laptop in the bus, I was really delighted to find it back at the office. Thank you so much
SHAME ON INTERCITY. NOT ONLY DO THEY HAVE ATROCIOUS UN-KIWI SERVICE, THEY AVOID SCRUTINY BY OBSCURING THEIR PRESENCE ON GOOGLE, PUBLISHING ONLY BUS STOPS FOR REVIEW. My fellow Kiwis, I realise this is no small ask since InterCity have the monopoly on so many routes, but please try to avoid patronising this most un-Kiwi of companies. I booked a "flexi" ticket for my friend which claimed to be fully refundable, for a whopping $140 from Wellington to Hamilton. He then managed to get a rental car relocation instead - which is why we booked "flexi" in the first place! After rushing home through hectic Christmas traffic today 21 December, I try to call InterCity, but get two minutes of hold music followed by constant unanswered ringing at two call centres. So I plug in my laptop and try to cancel online instead. I click on the cancel button, it sends me to an acceptance screen, but then I see nothing about a refund or credit. So I call two differernt branches once again, whilst also sending an enquiry via the website. Just as I'm about to hang up for the final time, my call is answered by Falomi, who tells me that my cancellation was ten minutes past the cut off 5.00pm, but puts me on hold to go and ask her supervisor when I explained that the delay was due to communication issues. After a few more minutes on hold I have now spent much more time on hold to InterCity than the tardiness in cancelling the booking alleged by InterCity, Falomi comes back to me, apologising profusely for her supervisor had refused to refund me and was instead offering a 12 month credit for the booking which was $140, more than I've spent on InterCity in the past three years. I responded to Falomi that I consider this illegal it is a breach of contract and I requested the name of the supervisor who made this illegal decision, which she gave to me as Yashu. I reiterated that I considered this conduct some of the most atrocious customer service I had ever encountered, and offered Yashu the opportunity to call me back before 6.00pm with a better outcome. However, I have had no response whatsoever, so I officially name Yashu at InterCity the Grinch of Christmas 2022. I truly feel sorry for Falomi and her colleagues working for such a petty tyrant as Yashu, a man who smugly hides behind bureaucratic technicalities to deny his fellow Kiwis a fair go. What a disgrace!
Dark, cold and packed with people unsure about were is? Or unware of what is? We as people need a warm, comfortable place where we can get together as a family or friends with warmth from a City that is Dark, Damp and people should be acknowledged. Because I am a local Maori from the 70s, 80s and I see that there is plenty of room for change in my Auckland City. Although I travel a lot from Auckland to Wellington quite frequently, 3 times a month. And I see no charge in this system outside of Intercity complex. So I call it how I see it??? Acknowledge it Intercity.
Alex the driver was really nice, Gold seat was really roomie & comfortable, just needs some TLC for the seat handle, could have a head rest side arms as the bus sways alot caught the bus from Auckland Central to Rotorua
22/6/2021, morning bus Auckland to Kerikeri. Grumpy, smart mouthed, white haired male driver, too busy sitting in the baggage door smoking up a storm to be caring for passengers simple queries, condescending replies to basic questions, hostile, ugly looks, if he hates his job that much he should retire! I've been in the service industry for over 25 years and this guy has an attitude problem. Poor service from him I'm sorry to say. Also, the inner terminal where there is seating looks run down and was freezing! Finally, how on earth are you meant to be picked up and dropped off in this awkward terminal? Such a weird fit!
Auckland to Wellington bus 6501 26/12/22. We just wanted to say what a wonderful bus trip we had with Anish to Cambridge. He was a great driver, kind, informative and had incredible customer service. Thank you for your service and we wish you well. Alice and Kyle, Aus. Intercity
Would give them 0 stars if I could. Literally late by AT LEAST 30 mins every single time. Obnoxious, useless staff both on the bus and in the terminal. Would recommend doing anything else train, hire a car you possibly can before you waste your time with this awful company; especially for the price they charge! Insane.
This is a hopeless bus station. It’s hard to find and badly signed. Presently April 2019 hidden behind construction hoardings. There is no arrival or departures board or anything like that and it frankly smells like a toilet. Very disappointing for tourists to see this. I am a local and I’m ashamed of this place. Intercity sort yourself out. Other comments of note. All bad. Not enough seats to wait at. No place to pick up or drop off. It’s like this terminal was a bad after thought.
