Very satisfied with the service. Cameron will attend to any of your inquiry patiently and he's very kind and friendly. Thanks Cameron for your understanding when I was forced to extend my rental for 2 days more because of the road closure that made me stuck in Haast. The condition of the car is superb. I would definitely recommend hiring a car from Shoestring. You won't regret! Will definitely rent a car from Shoestring again next time I go to Christchurch.

Very personal friendly service. A very quick turnaround from signing a form to being behind the wheel. Car was clean and as ordered for a 1 day hire.

It was great dealing with Cameron again, as usual everything went smoothly and I can't fault his service, I will look forward to dealing with Cameron and Shoestring rentals again in the future .

Cameron from Shoestring Rentals was highly professional from pre-sales all the way through to follow-up after return. He responded personally in each situation, from advising the type of vehicle for our group (an immaculate late-model Toyota Estima/Tarago with electric everything and 3-zone climate control) through booking to pick-up at the airport. We landed late, and it took us a little while to find the pickup location, but he still had a smile on his face and was very friendly. Cameron explained all the contract details in plain English, and made sure he pointed out all the notes on the paper as he went through it. We felt confident he had covered everything. We were impressed with the freshness and cleanliness of the vehicle and it ran very smoothly and quietly for our entire trip. The suspension was supply and responsive and just ate up the road up to Queenstown and back. Top marks for maintenance, safety and value for money! After we dropped the car off, Cameron contacted us straight away to finalise a few loose ends. It was one of the best car rental experiences we've had. We would definitely recommend Cameron and Shoestring Rentals to anyone wanting to travel from Christchurch, and they will be our first choice when we go back for a future visit.
