Me and my girlfriend have rented a self contained RV and wanted somewhere near a station to get into the city easily and this site was great. Felt very secure here and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers they have onsite are great. They have lots of electrical points as well as water taps and dumps for your grey hoses. Also a dump point with hose for your toilet cassette. Would recommend this park 100% and happily stay here again.
The staff are so rude and the services not worth the price. We were told there was a dryer in the laundry and there wasn’t. No wifi and no vending machine.nWe had a spot for a week. No outdoor green mat like the other RV sites but they came and asked us to clean the mat of a neighbouring van because our children were playing there. A lot of retired people who are there permanently staring every time we exit and enter our RV and also very rude. One woman told me I was a bad mother because I wouldn’t let my children accept the plastic collectibles from the supermarket that she was trying to offload on us while we were in the middle of dinner.nTerrible shower pressure and sensor lights mean you’re in there three minutes before it goes pitch black.n25 minutes walk in to the supermarket so it’s a difficult location
Firstly, Ignore any negative comments you might read about Sheralee Tourist Caravan Park! Specifically, this park is just as secure and safe as any other.nThis is a lovely yes, a little old caravan park. But you get exactly what you need from a tidy and well run park that is so close to Sydney city.nFor the price, I have stayed at many other places that offer much less.nIt's clean, neat, has both a small and large kitchen area, lounge room with TV and great hot water showers. Unlike many other parks, the toilets and showers are cleaned well and frequently.nAppliances in the kitchens as well as the BBQ all work and are in good condition.nThere are lots of powered sites which can be booked in advance but only a few unpowered sites. If you need an unpowered site, you cannot book and are allocated on who arrives first....so if you arrive late in the afternoon, be warned, there might not be space but you can always pay a few extra $ and get a powered sites for the night.nI highly recommend!!
As a site not worth what you pay, but given it's Sydney not bad price for what it is. Mainly used Sheralee to park campervan and visit old friends. It's very expensive and difficult to park close to CBD so in that respect it was good. Stayed 3 nights. Wandered around a little bit but never found advertised camp kitchen or vending machine, though they may be there. Wifi doesn't work. Sites are very short for campervan, if I wanted to open barn doors would have had to park nose out in access road. A few women complained showers were at best tepid, rapidly going cold, the men's were okay. If you don't have high expectations the place is alright.
You can't book for an unpowered site in the first place. So far so good. But they said we could move to one if there is space, but when we arrived there the rude staff just gave us a powered site even though there was plenty of space. Whenever I said something to find an agreement she played dumb. In the end we couldn't move, because we dropped it, but magically the people after us had the same problem, but because they were more furious they could. All in all was the staff so unpleasant, that there was an immediate dislike even if it's just a random camping Site. Just don't go there
