Lane Cove River Tourist Park - caravan park

The site itself is good and the visitors are good . Stars are reduced as one the reception - lady are too " cool' - which had been mentioned by other comments before. Also, We try to book another visit by ringing up, the lady who takes the call are totally poor which turn me from that site again(Hopeful this is not because accent different). I'd suggest that it is no harm to help visitors by no reason.

We stayed in the Lane Cove River Park to celebrate the New Year in Sydney. The Park is located near the National Park so it has a wonderful scenery and nature.We enjoyed our stay a lot as the staff was friendly and the amenities were very clean. Our space for the van was big and the public transport was good - only 20 to 30minutes to the city! Can only recommend it!!

Pretty amazing that you can set up a caravan this close to central Sydney. Good amenities, big enough sites, easy access and very moderate price. What's not to like? Update. Not sure what management changes have occurred but the current crew were extremely kind, considerate and helpful regarding our latest booking. Special deal of 4 nights for 3 price is a fantastic bargain.

Great and decent sized Tourist Park with clean facilities. WiFi available near the office. Powered and none powered sites including cabins. Close to public transport (train station and busses) to get around and into the city. Nice bush walks and picnic areas through the conservation park surrounding the park. Bush Turkey's walk through the park. Do not leave food or rubbish bags unsupervised outside.

Perfect for picnics and families but also good if you want to get out of the city hustle and bustle. Plenty of bird life if you're keen. The track is easy to navigate bar a couple of places. It's also pretty shady so isn't too bad around lunch time. A lot of places to stop and rest and grab a bite to eat.
