Had a great week with our grandson. Kid friendly. Amenities were basic but clean enough. Could do with some more laundry facilities. The site we had was a concrete powered van site. The jetty looks like it was flood affected, needs some work. Great price for a peak season stay. Very reasonable. Playground: Great pool, playground and jumping pillow. Restrooms: Basic. Dog-friendliness: Catered to family with pets. We took our dog. Picnic area: Had a camp kitchen, outdoor eating area and a coffee van in the mornings.
My family and I came here for 5 nights just before Christmas. The park is exceptionally well maintained, and the facilities meet every need you could imagine. There are two toilet blocks, one smaller block central to the games room, pool, etc. The other one is much bigger and includes the laundry. Both are either relatively new or have been renovated in the last few years. The jumping pillow, playground, games room, pool, exercise equipment, tennis court and volleyball court mean that there is more than enough to keep everyone entertained. Karuah is pretty small, so don't expect much in the way of shops. But there is an IGA, bottle shop and a few places selling coffee. The caravan sites are mostly a very good size, and even when the park was mostly full it didn't seem overly busy or crowded. Great for families and for relaxing. Playground: The fenced playground is great for young kids.
Attentive reception with phone call during the day to let us know of out of hrs procedure. Great cabin, clean and spacious, nice little park and town. Quick visit but love to stay again. RSL is a must for good service and good meal
1. Bed sheet is not clean, and doubt if it has been changed from last guest. 2. Wifi connection day one ok, then cannot be connected on the second day. 3. Not sure why the building has some noises during nightsnow 11:48pm. Sounds like water hammer, are we too close to the pump station? Wooden structure squeeze each other due to temperature? Very Unhappy with this. 4. The Environment is good.
Tried to contact on numerous platforms phone, spoke to somone but still couldnt give me the correct dimensions of the slab, email, social media to discuss the size of a site and if appropriate for a tent but didn't respond. Ended up cancelling booking due to this. Cancelled with over a months notice and still took half my deposit. We didn't even stay and they made money.
Level site,amenities picture on maps means toilet only,where is the shower? Kids kicking a football behind our van till 10pm. All good,I asked them to plz stop and they did.$42pn Considering the amount of rain that area has had its well drained. Friendly staff and close to everything. A shirt walk away theres a long jetty. Nice park and well set out. They have recently done a few upgrades such as a wide concrete driveway that gives good access to the grass powered sites. They provide entertainment outdoor movies, arts & crafts and have a nice pool & play area. Walking distance to local shops and RSL Club. Very nice here, we will certainly come back again.
Nice Park. Has a shop 2 blocks down where you can buy oysters. short walk to the shops. Large site. enjoyed the band. Loved the pickles that they sold at reception. very friendly staff. Clean toilets and a very long jetty attached to the park to go fishingService: 5/5
Nice place quiet town . A lot of midges biting my legs and a sewer smell coming up from grey water drain
Appears to have suffered from extremely wet weather. Grounds sodden, but one can't blame it on the operators. Toilets quite impressive. Coming here in summer with good weather would likely be a far nicer experience.
