It services staff, patients and guests. The entire fifth level is closed so parking is limited.nIf you have a very early appointment it is handy but if its any later than 9am mid week, I wish you all the best during your trying time.
Security were very helpful, I called ahead to confirm the height limit and they were great. When I returned and couldn’t find my car, a different security person helped me and was just as helpful. The ramps are a bit tight on the turns but definitely doable, just make sure you get your turning circle right and don’t take up more space than you need. At the top of the ramp there’s not a lot of extra length with cars parked opposite, so take it slow. Height clearance is 2.1 m.
Good car park overall. Not too expensive IMO and they offer concessions upon approval from the hospital which is great if you have to park there for a longer period of time.nnThe only thing I see is that the ramps are a bit narrow and can be tricky to navigate as it’s very easy to bump your wheels on the ramp.
This is a very, very limited parking area if you have a disability or a specialised disability vehicle. Since they have the height very low at 1.95m if you have a higher vehicle or a disability-modified vehicle eg. roof wheelchair, then this car park is ridiculously not to standard and inaccessible. Outside is even worse; being an area full of hospital buildings and specialty rooms, there is barely any disability parking outside if you can't fit in the carpark.nnShame on the city council and hospital for not being up to accessibility code for the multi-story car park and not having enough outside areas to compensate for this oversight in design.nnShame on you for being so discriminatory.
Prepare to scrape your rims on every up and down ramp in this carpark. So many cars have done so that the corners are shaved off some of the ramps
