Huge place, right on the seafront, at The Strand. Old building that has been nicely and tastefully renovated in a more modern style, with so many separate areas to eat, drink, watch sport etc. The menu has a lot of choices and the food portions are fairly large. There is a huge banyan tree right outside, that you can sit under on large bench seats.
Great spot, lots of different areas to cater for all groups of diners. Had to queue for a while, but that's because it's very popular. Reasonably priced food and an extensive menu to suit all.
Great place for a meal. Nice atmosphere, there was live entertainment dinner/guitarist at Sunday lunch, and he was good.nYou can get a decent view of you're lucky. You need to check out the awesome tropical fish tank inside. The waiter who found us a table was exceptionally helpful, sorry I didn't get your name.
Had lunch today, ordered food along with 1/2 dozen oysters. Disappointed is understatement $38 and were size of tinned oysters.nWhen questioned the 5c piece sized oysters I was told “ that’s what we get”nThis should be communicated about size at sale..nwould not recommend and costumer service in kitchen department poor not wanting to resolve issue.
Very busy, only 1 staff member taking food orders, line very long, 30 minute wait to order. Spring rolls cold, barra in fish burger cut very thin. Men enjoyed the steaks. Should be able to order salad or veg, had to pay extra for vegetables. Garlic bread could have been toasted a bit longer.
