The first store in North Queensland. We are a dessert cafe filled with delicious waffles, churros and signature hot chocolate.

We also offer a large all day breakfast, lunch and dinner menu

Story

Oliver Browns’ success is built on our passion to deliver the best quality coffee and chocolate. Our chocolate is all made from Belgian covertures chocolate! Our signature products range from Waffles, Hot Chocolates, Fondues to Cakes and other unique beverages. We also have a great range of savoury meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Whilst offering amazing products and delectable delights, it is our mission to offer each person who walks through our doors the same experience no matter where in the world they visit us. It’s by understanding the different cultures we live in and absorbing the other cultures surrounding us that make us different. We like different. In fact, we love different.

Excellent.  We ordered breakfast and received our meals within 10 minutes, staff were friendly and smiling. The hash browns were super crunchy and salmon fresh. Definitely try the hot chocolate mocha, its fantastic. The place was busy with the cafe having good COVID control and distance between tables. $57.20 was reasonable for the quality of service and food. We would eat here again.

Delicious brekky on the strand at this wonderful place! Both my friend and I had the smoked salmon benedict, i opted out of the bread! Hot choc bitter was delicious & my friend enjoyed a lovely cappuccino.  Next time will try the waffles! Thank you Oliver Brown!

Ordered vegetarian breakfast for lunch. It was delicious, well made with care and very tasty. The quantity was very generous too. The price was also reasonable. Good decor but a little bit cramped inside when the restaurant is full. The staff are friendly. A must visit place if you are near The Strand area. I would rate this as one of best in Townsville.

Amazing place to eat. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Food came out fast with great presentation. Food tasted great. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again

Beautiful generous meals and ridiculously fast service. 7 meals and 5 drinks came out within 15 minutes. Waffles are amazing and everyone was stoked with their food and service. Would love to come back again soon! Thank you so much guys!

Decided to check out Oliver Brown one saturday morning. I was not disappointed at all. I had the strawberry and banana waffle and my cappuccino had a drizzle of belgium chocolate over it....SUPERB!!

Great place to chill. Really cool indoors and lovely outside seating area. Good for a coffee especially if you're with a non coffee drinker as they do shakes etc. Very yum.

Had a yummy eggs on toast with chorizo here for lunch the other day. Good food, decent prices, staff pretty friendly. Only downside is no oat milk available 

Amazing every single time! Best Churros, fresh and fluffy. Best got chocolates and open until 10pm. Great staff and awesome atmosphere for late night dates.

Excellent, friendly service, delicious food, small portions would be my only complaint but oh my word, the S'mores  waffle was divine!
