Story

Longboard Bar & Grill is where the beer and the bar come together to create the perfect restaurant.

Our cuisine is a reflection of great Australian fusion where the extensive menu offers something for everyone. Our lunch menu consists of dishes to share or to start with, a variety of burgers and wraps, pizzas, salads, pastas and a selection from the grill. The all day menu offers a bar menu to suit anyones taste, the perfect stopover at any time for a light snack and a cold drink. Our dinner menu somewhat reflects the lunch menu but steps it up a notch with some great main plates such as our famous Sticky BBQ Pork Ribs and Lamb Cutlets. We also have a range of low gluten and vegetarian dishes available.

Dinner & lunch reservations are highly recommended, to avoid disappointment. The seating consists of inside air conditioned, outside under cover and outside out on the deck alongside the Coral Sea. There is a variety of high tables and stools around the bar area which are perfect for a social drink or meal amongst friends. There are also two fantastic booth style tables available inside which is a favourite spot for the kids.

Longboard has a private room facing Magnetic Island that can cater for a maximum of 12 guests, complete with private volume controls for music, cushioned seats and air conditioning, it makes it perfect for a special group gathering or business meeting. Get in early and book this though as the private dining room books out weeks in advance.

The drinks at Longboard revolve around one thing and that is the LONGBOARD PALE ALE. The Longboard Brewing Company stand behind this amazing beer which has recently won some great awards and now a top seller at Longboard Bar & Grill. Longboard’s also offer a great range of other Australian and International beers as well as a selection of draught beer. The wine list covers all the varieties from value for money wines to a few top range wines for those who appreciate the finer things in life. With such an amazing location it is no wonder that cocktails are always on demand and Longboard has a great range of spirits to design some of the most extravagant cocktails the tropics has to offer.
