Was a pretty average stay. Got put in a room with two single beds instead of a queen bed. Shower wall had a mass of long dark hair stuck to it when we arrived. Glass table was filthy underneath and there was no plug in the room for the bath.. and when we asked for one, they sent one up that didn't fit. Spare doona in the wardrobe was stained too, so we left that where it was. Good location for what was needed, and they did reimburse the parking fee which was appreciated.. but overall, wasn't the most desirable of stays, will probs give it a miss in future.
It's more like service apartment. No restaurant so you need to go to the nearby shops for breakfast. Due to road closure for airport train rail construction you need to walk a bit to get a taxi. However once the rail complete then this place will be a good spot as it's not far from the CBD and the beach. It's not a brand new place but you can still get a 2 double beds in a room with a sofa inside so the roomis quite big.
Friendly reception staff. Great location, 1970's decor becoming cool again. Filthy bath and windows. Hot tub have to get out every three mins to press button to turn back on, sauna and pool, with it's very own resident Redback spider the week we were there. Nearby activities: Great for the wonderful Botanic Gardens . Excellent team services into city and south to St Kilda.
Never will I stay here again! I have stayed several times at this hotel, however, it has degraded over the years and is in need of urgent upgrades. I paid an extra $20 for an upgrade, but they should have paid me $20 to stay in the room. The heating didn't work, the sliding door didn't close properly. The bedhead fell off the wall while I was freezing in the bed. The side tables lamps didn't work as the bedhead covered up the PowerPoints. I checked out at 0200 and drove 5 hours home. I have written to the hotel and no response.
The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was huge with a park view. Really handy location for a Sydney Myer Music bowl concert. There is parking available from a side lane. Book first. Max 2m head height.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent location. Large well equipped family room with soft beds, clean linen, washer/dryer, kitchenette, decent fridge with seperate freezer, lounge area with ample chairs and balcony looking straight out to the Shine. Pool, spa, sauna and gym. Friendly reception staff. Stairs only to access the carpark but they would let you unload at the entrance before parking. Lifts up to rooms. IGA express a short walk away for anything you need.
I booked a two double beds service apartment for a family of three for 4 nights stay. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable. We will be back!Rooms: 5/5
Very welcoming, clean and well appointed room with a bathtub!! IGA is a block away. USB charging points would be a useful upgrade at some point
Great location currently tram works making things tricky. Nice pool and gym. Nice lady on reception Sam I seem to recall her name was- very helpful and professional. Real close to the Shrine and Botanic Gardens across the road.
Nice service apartment kind of hotel. Room service is Uber eats, but nice selection. I ordered Italian. Pizza was so good.
