After going to this store many times over the 30 years I have lived in Launceston i have never been so disgusted at how I was treated today. The store is currently under repairs in the car park with no signs saying how to proceed to enter the store .nI had been in the store for 5 minutes looking at clothing at which point this horribly rude lady came over and said don't walk over the tape it is being concreted at which point I said oh there is no signs saying that or directing you which way to enter. As she continued her display of rudness talking down to me I said I don't need to be spoken to like that! Utterly disgusting that anyone should be treated like that! In the end I just walked out of the store horrified at this ladies behaviour and I won't be returning.nOne less person supporting the Salvation Army and all the good work it does for the community.
They used to be good for clothing and bric a brac but they seem hell bent on selling things for basically retail prices these days. If a piece of clothing has stains in it do you really expect me to pay the full price and then have the audacity to argue with me about it?
Friendly busy staff. Always clean and fresh productsnAlways pleased I can help the principles of the Salvation Army's good works
Clothes are far too expensive. AS is their furniture. Does this shop remember that items are given free, staff volunteer & atm people have no spare money owing to the cost of living. I myself have not had it so bad. I've always managed & GG ad money left after eCh single aged pension. Not any more & I don't smoke ,drink alcohol or gamble. The only time I leave home is to get groceries & see a doctor, even that costs money, and there would be hundreds like me. It's a scary world today . Greed gas taken over everywhere now.
Large shop has furniture but it's way overpriced and bric a brac clothing etc sad really as these places don't feel like charity shops as such anymore polite staff and it's clean
