Thank you so much to all the amazing Doctors, Nurses and all Staff at the RAH and special thanks to all the Emergency Doctors and Nurses thanks looked after my daughter when she needed help to save her life. Words can’t express how grateful we all are to you all and her finding out what conditions my daughter had that no other Doctors could help us. You are all amazing beautiful people Thank you Susan
Family member discharged from RAH Emergency twice with no diagnosis for stomach pain and not eating for 3 weeks. Demanded and had to beg for an Endoscopy and finally given one weeks after first presenting to Emergency which found severe Stomach Cancer. Subsequent treatment also below par not seen by Doctor after procedure left in limbo and family members could not get answers either. No communication and a Third World Standard Hospital.
Fantastic surgeon and amazing nursing staff. Facilities very good however still not enough rooms for patients - this is a relatively new hospital isn’t it? My 19 year old daughter was never transferred to a room even after emergency surgery. Kept in a holding bay with 3 other men over a 3 day period. No showers available for the entire stay. Nurses run off their feet but doing a wonderful job under very trying conditions.nOutpatients very disorganised. 2hr wait past appointment time for a review, follow up xray not booked by the staff at last appointment resulting in another hour wait. Should have been a very straight forward review. No apologies from any staff member, I guess this is the norm?
Ward nurses are excellent at what they do, very supportive and friendly to talk to. All support structures in place when you need them.. They helped me when I was in for surgery... Can't say enough about all the staff I interacted with they helped me through a tough time in my life, and I'm still getting help from them...nA gigantic Thank You to you all..nYou're the Best...
My husband recently spent 3 days at the RAH. Wonderful caring staff - medical, nursing, other. Nice meals. The best place to be in when one is in need of urgent specialist medical treatment and care or elective surgery/treatment. Thank you everyone at the RAH!
