Story

Our modern 60 bed hospital includes an 8 Bed Day Surgery Unit and Private Room accommodation,
2 Operating Theatres and a Gastroenterology Procedure Room. We offer services in General Surgery, Medical, Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Laparoscopic Surgery, Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, Dental
and Residential Aged Care.

Our Residential Aged Care Facility has 84 licensed beds. The aim of the nursing home is to provide an environment in which residents receive contemporary, quality care in both the medical and nursing fields within the resources available.

The North Eastern Community Hospital complex is community owned and focused on providing quality clinical services to the local community.

I have had multiple surgeries at this hospital over the past 20 years and I am always comforted by many of the same nursing staff who have been consistent through these years of treatment.  My most recent experience in February 2025 was the best nursing experience I have had in any hospital.  The staff were caring, compassionate and personable. They all deserve recognition for the wonderful care they provide.   And a huge shout out to Karina, the best nurse I have ever had.nThank you!!

I had a wonderful childbirth experience in this hospital back in 2020 , the best one so far . The best nursing staff I dealt with , good food with decent portion . Good spacious room as well :

My first experience here was positive. Will update after all my treatment is complete.nMy day surgery now complete. Very happy with the outcome. The staff were very attentive and helpful. However this hospital was way more expensive than the other day surgery I attended. Yet the service was indistinguishable. A good outcome for me.

I have just returned from having a procedure done in the Day Surgery unitnAt the NECH.  I would have to say that the care I received from the surgeon to the anaesthetist to the nursing staff was first rate and I’d like to thank them for their kindness, care and professionalism.  It was a pleasure being looked after by this team.  Thank you.

I had a day  procedure today.nEveryone  was amazing  from reception, anaesthetist ,my specialist,  lunch  and the staff  were friendly polite which , made me  feel comfortable.nThanks  to you all
