Scoops of chips are ridiculously small. Same as what you would get as half a scoop anywhere else. Tiny squirt of sauce on hotdog. This place used to be great, but unfortunately the last few visits have proved they aren’t any more. Won’t be going back there.

Excellent Service If your not in the shop waiting for your order they come out side of the shop and give your order to you while you in your car waiting 100%.  Food Cooked to your liking Yum.  Atmosphere bloody Awesome always smiling

The saddest excuse for fish and chips in NZ!!  Chips soggy with no crunch, seems like they've been boiled not fried. Fish soggy as well as batter falling right off it. And i thought the wait was normal but for this sub par meal was not worth my time. Will not be coming back again.

Probably worst fish n chip shop in gizzy. Got told its not worth your money, stupid me went there anywhere. Not impressed. Will not return. Will tell family and friends, go somewhere else.

Fish batter was soggy and batter fell off when picking up. Chips looked like they had been precooked and were a bit shriveled.

Dinner tonight. $20 mixed fish & chips. Fresh fish, Battered sausages and lots of chips. Quick service. Really nice  lots of specials in store  and a mini Asian market tucked in there as well.

Not impressed, this place has lost its former glory, old as lettuce used in burgers, with scrap side cuts of tomato, stuff all sauce on hotdogs, won't be going back

Been there a few times. It was great service but the last time I went there, it was the worst service ever in my life.  Placed an order by phone and picked up at 6.30pm. When I arrived there, I have waited another 15 mins and talked to an old guy at the counter. He was looking around to find my order as he couldn’t find it and he had to ask the kitchen staff a couple of times and finally he realised the order was already in the hot cabinet for pick up collection   Total meal cost was $7.50 and paid with cash $20, but he gave the change of $10.50. I asked him that the change was wrong but he gave me another $4 instead which means he gave more change than it supposed to be ‍  I asked him to get the GST receipt but he said he couldn’t give the receipt to me he said the receipt needs to be kept at the counter for their records. What an awful experience! Would never come back again unfortunately.

Good food. The chips were delicious, the fish very well done. The battered sausages were not battered, but that was probably a misunderstanding. The mussels and the nuggets were also good. Only downside was that they don't take credit cards. Thanks!

For most and all, I can say and my family’s is Riverdale fish and chips shop is the best fish shop ever. We love the way they cook the fish and chips, its so nice and yum! and the way they make the burgers its a big “wow” worth it the price... And they really have a good customer service so professional.
