got Charcoal Chicken satay with rise. For 13$ it was a really nice big amount and with a juicy meat. Tasted healthy and felt good having this meal! We would give 8/10 rate. One of the best places in Gisborne. Definitely recommended and thanks! We will be back!
Always love talking with the owners - they take a personal interest in their regulars and often remember their order even if it's been weeks/months. They do some inspired salads but I can't go past their rib gravy on chips!Food: 3/5
Always great pork sandwiches and the chips are nice and hot with the perfect amount of salt they never drown them in it its a perfect amount of food for a sandwich,chips and a drink $22 isn't bad

Nice tasty food, large portions and very reasonable prices. Staff are helpful and add suggestions if asked. Highly recommended.
Not much seating, but their salad special and a pork sandwich was delicious, as is their chicken.
Worst ribs ever! Owner decided to give me 3 burnt ribs and 3 that were ok, this mixing of good and bad in the same order is a standard practice for low level takeaway joints! The owner engaged in conversation and appeared genuinely likable - a front for putting out crap food I guess!

it was really cheap and pretty tasty and a big portion for the price. people in there are very kind and helped me, yummy feed will go back there again
First time round was ok, second time was much better. Got the chicken and chips from here one time but the chicken was a bit dry so probably wouldn’t get that again. I went back again today and got the pork, chips and gravy meal, this was very delicious , loved the combo and the gravy was nice too, my only suggestion would be if you would consider using steak-cut chips instead of fries?, but I can understand it may be easier to serve fries instead of steakCut chips. more gravy would be great too, Service was great and very friendly staff. Will definitely go back again
