This is probably the best pork I've ever had, and top two chinese takeaways. The rice and noodles were perfectly cooked and very flavoursome. The meat was crispy where it should be, juicy and tender and the vegetables were all fresh. The cooking had that charcoal BBQ taste and each dish included a sauce or lime for seasoning. Absolutely amazing food, highly recommended.
This is not your typical takeaway shop. The food is delicious and not too expensive. Definitely something to check out when you’re down in Gisborne
Love the flavours, have been to this place many times and I’d go again when I’m in Gizzy next
I usually don't get takeaways with seafood in them but I thought it is a good way to get an idea of their food weither the seafood is fresh or not. Ordered the Prawn Tom Yum soup and 2 spring rolls. Absolutely loved them the soup is fresh and FULL of flavor its like the kind of soup mum makes when your sick had whole prawns in it which I though was very nice. Delivery was on time hassle free online ordering. Recommend to everyone.
My meal was full of flavor but I wish there had been more of it. Their new location is bigger and better lit actually providing a dine in experience if you wished it.
Our group saw a review online about to solace, thought it looked good so tried it. Highly recommend it! Tasty food, quick and simple atmosphere.
One year ago it was amazing, tasty, always fresh noodles crispy chicken stri fry but when they moved to the new place everything turned upside down. Food tastes different than it was before. Way to loud music inside so you can barely talk to each other. When order for takeaway chicken noodles the time for picking up the food was 30 minutes but after picking it up and eating after another 5 minutes you could easily say that the meal was waiting there for long time. Noodles kind of over cooked and it made one big bunch of ovecooked noodles. Twice happend that I ordered crispy chicken stir fry and got pork. First time found out after driving 12 minutes home. Came back for new meal, barely told me sorry, didn’t make new meal but emptied the box of noodles on the wok to heat it again and added chicken - yup it was gross and over cooked! Didn’t get any discount and they kept telling me that the “reclamation and refund” was this new meal which wasn’t even new one. So sad. Second time it happened I found out back home and just threw it away because I hate pork whole meal smells from pork, I wanted chicken but again didn’t get what I’ve ordered. I used to like this place a lot but now never ever again! A mistake can happen but there was almost no effort to appologize and make a new proper meal.
Tasty food and reasonable size and good mild flavours. I would suggest you ask for your food to be slighted more heated if dining in. Extra spice or chilli too if you like it with heat.
Great flavors, a little hot for me but I didn't ask about heat! Vegetarian options: A great range of options
