Chips were bland and tasted as though they were precooked and then reheated. Serving size was decent. Fish was OK. Wait time was super fast. An OK fish n chip shop if you want a fast, ok priced meal for the less fussy eaters.
The Food is what you would expect from a fish and chips shop. The burger bun was perfectly toasted.Food: 3/5
Just under $82 for a handful of chips, 2 paua fritters which were unedible, 2 crumbed fish which were burnt and again unedible, 1 corn fritter that just fell apart, 1 crabstick, 1 egg burger with no egg or salad sauce nothing and stone cold and plain hamburger again cold with no sauces or fillings. Never ever again!!!

This fish shop is way better than the one near to the beach! This one, way better reasonably price and larger portions of fish & chips! Most importantly, fresher yummy fish too! Great customer service too!

OMG peeps this little shop has the freshest of freshest local fish. Cooked to perfection. Awesome menu. Wonderful friendly atmosphere and service. Great prices. Can't be beaten
Lovely hospitality great food and service
3 and a half stars really because it was just below above average meal judging on time, taste presentation, cost and overall opinion. Classic chuncky chips lightly seasoned with salt although a bit over cooked leaves you with a few of those really crunchy ones. Fish I chose was Snapper. Taste was on near perfect but the presentation was not to flash at all. The light flake texture with a not too thick batter seasoned mildly with salt made up for what seemed to be skin leftover on the fish when it was cooked. Waiting time as expected was a bit long but half star as it was a busy day for open day. Thanks for the experience team Everest Fish Shack! Although I was not overly appreciative of the food I was not disappointed either. _x
