Okay station, but the vending machine failed to give me my honey buttersuckle soy chicken salty chips. I paid $6.00 for them! Please update your vending machines to prevent them from getting stuck!
The station is now operational and trains are running on their regular schedule.
Not one of my favourite stations the area and the trench is a bad idea
Ten years ago when no one was building units for a reason why I don't know? If it's a money issue that can't be helped. But I think Ferntree Gully was the first of all the suburbs to pick from, large blocks and affordable housing but not so easy to either end up being a victim of over crowded and boring looking two story town houses and other places where they are going straight up and forget the impact on the wildlife! . I have been completely convinced council was the brains. With such large amounts of types of bushland property, as a community Knox councils stupidly opened the flood gates for more and more blocks of land to be ruined by allowing developers to use one block for 3 or more units and they seem to be completely out to collect rates and forget where the displaced animals will go, I am all for building more homes but not at the expense of the impact on the small amounts of bushland that makes Knox a great place to live.
Regular trains and easy access with a ton of parking are all hallmarks of the great Ringwood East station. Connecting buses are across the road, and it recently got the new LED information signs. 10/10 would go again.
