I have been traveling from Croydon for last three years. The station has changed tremendously and the new look is superb. Though work is still going on but I am sure end of it will be fabulousn.
New station is amazing. No shade on platform to lilydale though. End Feb 2025.
Great new station
Currently the entire train station area is a hopeless rabbit warren of construction works with many roads closed.nnI was only passing through getting off one bus to catch a train replacement bus. It took me about 20 minutes to find the temporary bus stop and I had to ask people on the street for directions 4 times.nnAvoid transiting through the area on public transport at all costs. Just get a taxi from one side of Croydon to the other and then get back on public transport.
Croydon stationnIt’s a good station and will be getting the crossing removed eventually
