Left my water bottle on the platform at 6.45am and it was still there at 5pm. Not bad for a commuter station: reasonably reliable trains, moody skies and apparently honest passengers too.nnBack when I was a wee lad, the most exciting thing about Baysie station was looking over to stabling yards and spotting the mythical 4D double decker train. Sometimes it even got up and out under its own steam well, electricity. Whatever spark there was once belongs to another time.
Large station with a big car park and platform, neatly laid out and rather clean for the most part, has one of the best views of any station.
It's been a while since I last been to Bayswater Railway Station and now that the re-development removal of level crossings at Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road is complete I'm really impressed with the new station. This has been a major upgrade resulting in a massive improvement. Great architecture, very modern and lovely garden beds.
One staff member a man in his 40s to 50s was so rude re looking for my parcel .As being in the customer service industry he requires re training ASAP.
It has been 2 years since the last time I came to this station. I lived in the area for over 7 years before moving. I lived to the renovations and transition to the new one. It is heart breaking how the station has been poorly maintained in the past years. Its super dusty, dirty. Looks like it has not been maintained in months! Truly disappointing!. I guess they don't care about all the money us tax payes paid to built it
