I ordered a Double Bacon muffin for breakfast, but each time I received it, there was only one slice of bacon. Additionally, there was eggshell in the egg. This morning, my husband ordered two cheeseburgers and fries to take our child to tutoring and then pick me up for work. When our child messaged us saying that only the fries were in the bag, we had no choice but to go back and reorder what we were missing. We waited for 5-6 minutes in the drive-thru, even though there were no other cars, before anyone responded to our order.nWhen I went to pick up the food, I informed the staff member about the issue, but they didn't respond or apologize in any way. At the payment window, I asked if the manager was available and explained the situation. The manager understood what was missing and provided the correct items, but their attitude was cold, and there was no apology.nTo make matters worse, when I opened my meal in the car, the Double Bacon muffin was still missing the second slice of bacon. I took a bite and found a foreign object in the food. When I tried to take another bite, I found a large piece of eggshell. If this had been for my child, I can't imagine how dangerous this could have been.nThis was an incredibly disappointing experience, with poor service and unacceptable food quality. I expect better from McDonald's, and this will be the last time I visit this location.
Ordered through the app. We haven’t clicked indicating that we have arrived but found that our food was already ready when we got there. The fries looked like it was dumped into the bag. 80% of the fries was just scattered in the bag. Not to mention they cold and soft.nnMy Milo shake looked more like milk because it was out for so long.nnThis prompted me to check the burgers. The fillet-o-fish had about 70% of the sauce on the corner of the box and not in the burger.nnI got the attention of the staff. Showed him the shake and told him nicely that I think it was prepared way too early. He asked me without a word of apology or a friendly smile, “what do you want me to do? Do you want me to replace it?” I said “yes”. Without another word, he went to get the drink prepared.nnThen I told him that the fries are everywhere in the bag. Again he asked me bluntly “do you want me to replace it?” I said “ok” and he went.nnThen I got hold of another staff who looked more like a manager, thinking she’ll have better manners. I opened the filet-o-fish box and asked her if this presentation is normal. She bluntly said yes. I removed the bun and asked “is it normal to have just half a cheese in the burger?” Again she just said “yes “. Lastly I asked if it is normal to have most of the sauce outside of the burger. She said yes! Throughout the whole conversation, she did not apologize nor smiled. At the end she asked “what do you want me to do? Do you want me to change it?”nnWhen has McDonald’s tagline become “what do you want me to do?”nnI said I don’t want to waste anymore food. I just wanted to give a feedback. She just brushed me off and said that she’ll bring this up to the manager.nnI’m pretty sure nothing has been done. I just grabbed the bag and left with huge disappointment.nnWhen I got home, I realized my Milo shake was so badly made. It was just Milo powder right at the bottom with thick milk. After mixing it, I was drinking chunks of Milo powder.nnI’ve had bad experiences with McDonald’s but never made a complaint including the time when my mcchicken had nothing but lettuce and sauce between the buns.nnThis time it is not just about food quality. I can’t tolerate the attitude of the staffs.
I come to this particular Maccas mainly for the coffee, and that’s because of Lachlan. I usually get a standard iced latte, no sugar syrup, with 1–3 extra shots — and every time he makes it, it’s spot on. Consistent, balanced, and exactly how it should be.nnOut of the six McDonald’s in my area, this is actually the furthest one from me, but I still choose Wantirna because I know I’ll get a great coffee if Lachlan’s on shift. He clearly takes pride in what he does, and it really shows. McDonald’s is lucky to have him.
This McDonald’s store has always been an excellent store to visit. Consistent impeccable customer service from the entire crew. The coffee is ‘out of this world’ - just fantastic - so flavoursome and creamy. But then again it’s been this way for a very long time now. Thank you! We would thoroughly recommend you stop by McDonald’s Wantirna. It’s a really great store. - AWESOME in fact. Good, pleasant Manager with a happy crew. The food as well - always hot and delicious. Honestly, we can’t fault the place. Back for more!
Had a small issue with my order, but the staff sorted it out quickly and were super friendly about it. The food was delicious, especially the fries, which were seasoned very nicely. Really appreciated the smooth and positive customer service. Thanks to the team and manager!
