My partner and I ordered a lot, which is absolutely fresh and delicious! A great experience! I have to admit that the staff are very busy, but they are absolutely friendly and polite! We ordered three times, and the dishes came out until we were full. Really valued my money. The fried rice is very delicious. We left a little fried rice but there was no extra charge. We noticed that leftover more than 200g may occur extra charge which is reasonable. I will definitely come back with my family!
I love, love, love the concept of ‘eat as much as you can’ for a set price. Really allows you to pick and choose and try a few different dishes. Overall, the food was very tasty. I had one dish that I didn’t order and arrived at the table and wasn’t suited to my taste buds. It would be awesome to see little flags with names on the dishes as I just couldn’t remember everything we ordered, especially if this is not your daily genre. One small thing that I noticed was the chairs are very comfortable, but very low to the ground and when you’re 6 feet tall, getting down and back up, without joint issues, was not that easy. Great vibes and felt like a family restaurant. Very popular. I love Sushi! I would definitely recommend.
We had the all you can eat for 6 of us. Cost included drinks so I thought it was good value for $240 total. Service was very good and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was great having the front table which is away from the rest of the restaurant. There was a variety of items and all the food was fresh. Some of it could’ve been a little hotter but the quality of the food was good. We had a great few hours. Not a great selection of desserts but we didn’t care as we went home for cake and we were full anyway!
Very busy. All you can eat, be sure to order multiple items, at least four. Otherwise the wait between courses could be long. No split bills is the surprise at the end of dinner. Credit card surcharge 1.5% not identified on the menu. An interesting and well presented food selection easily enjoyed by people even if you not used to Japanese style foods.
Group of 5 and we had the all you can eat buffet. Food arrived quickly. Fresh and delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would love to go again. Beef capacious was a treat!
Food was just OK for me. 3 star. Most of the dishes tasted the same. Service was excellent. Our orders came out really fast. The wait staff were efficient. 1 extra star for the service. Booking online was easy. I wouldn't be patronising again though.Food: 3/5
Delicious food, came very quick - was still ordering first course when the first items began to arrive. Great friendly and polite service. Atmosphere was good, bit too cramped when you're sitting right behind another table Vegetarian options: Couple of tasty vegetarian options including sushi spring rolls and gyozas Parking: Parking at a strip mall, Sunday dinner time was plenty of parking
Thought it’s a popular restaurant and yes for sure! There were few dishes we ordered didn’t come to us. Too busy and lack staff. I wouldn’t be happy if working there. Sashimi was a surprising as you can see from the picture, a few pieces of raw fish on the side called sashimi and sushi dishes. I guess it required you to eat more rice to get full quickly!! In general, it wasn’t that good as I thought !!
The main appeal of Okami, much like many other AYCE places, is the fact that you have the freedom to order appetite allowing 100 orders of the same dish. Can't deny, that is very fun. At this price point is quite reasonable. Quality of the food is acceptable. Some hits and some misses, and overall a bit too salty. Steak is pretty good, as is the beef tataki. The fried food isn't bad either. Sushi on the other hand is quite underwhelming. Don't fall for thinking the sushi is where the value is at, the ingredients aren't top quality and the rice is dense. As mentioned before, the main draw is the quantity, not the quality. Would come back, but not any time soon.
All our meals where served with beautiful presentation, fresh and so filling, absolutely nothing could be faulted. Will be back again soon. Additional thanks to you're beautiful and friendly staff. Thank-you Mr & Mrs Kirk and family
