Story

The Wantirna Hill Club has been part of the landscape of Wantirna for many years and is the home of the Vermont Football Club. Situated on central Boronia Rd, close to Eastlink, the Wantirna Hill Club offers locals a variety of entertainment options. It has all of the facilities that you would expect including a bistro, TAB & Tavern bar, function room, gaming room and special offers that caters to all tastes and budgets.

Great place for family meals. Play area available with bouncing castle. Fridays have special guest in the play area to entertain the kids. Meals wise food was good, service was good. Generally price has gone up just like everywhere.

Meals are very hit and miss however always affordable.nnVisiting as part of a group of 25 I understand it’s hard to please everyone, on this occasion one of the guests had to return the same meal three times for three various reasons. This was settled politely with both the return of money and 3rd replacement meal.nThis is the reason for the impeccable 5 star service received.nThe dust falling from the pictured ceiling grill onto the meals being consumed was a reason for the two stars given for the atmosphere.nThis same visit there was something that tasted different as I have had this dish from here before and odd with the Nasi Goreng, I didn’t finish it as a result and was ill the next day. When briefly discussing this with the host I discovered a friend of the host also had Nasi Goreng however theirs had prawns, I’ve learned that they too were unwell?nI’ve never had this issue prior but find it a coincidence we had the same dish and both ended up with unwell with the same symptoms.nKids play area is great, they all seem to enjoy it.nIt’s a great venue otherwise.

I love Wantirna Hill Club. I am a member, and I also get to use my Seniors Card.nThe meal size is great. I got entree, main, salad, and dessert for $34, and I probably won't get through it!nStaff here are friendly and helpful.nSo yay to Wantirna Club!

We went there for the first time as we were given a gift voucher for this Club. We were greeted in a most professional manner and escorted to our seats. We were presented with a menu but not instructed that we had to order and pay at the counter. It was then very seamless with us ordering and receiving our order within 8-10 minutes. I had Roast Beef and my partner had the fish. We later ordered coffee which we had on the rear deck. It was a most enjoyable lunch. Many thanks to the staff there.

Had Fathers Day lunch which was lovely.  I really enjoyed the Indian Satay Chicken skewers, and the rest of the family also enjoyed the food.  Service was great.  Most enjoyable, well done
