Great food. Anyone coming from North America (or other places) will be a bit surprised at the service style. Kinda like a fast food restaurant, you line up to order, get a 'beeper', and when your food is ready, you go and get it. It was different, but when in Rome... The food was great, not too expensive compared to other places on that strip, great outside/inside dining, drinks and good service. Smoking section outside on the patio.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and always clearing up, felt very clean. Food was very nice and atmosphere of the place awsome. Went back for a 2nd dinner on our 10day stay in Port Douglas.

We had our last meal of our vacation in Australia at the Rattle & Hum in Port Douglas. The food was neither great nor bad, typlical pub food really. The men's room however!! One of the best I've ever seen complete with a waterfall urinal!! Get a table near the sidewalk and enjoy one of northern Queensland's nicest towns pass by.

We had no idea where to eat one night so we opted to let the locals show us by way of business. This place by far had the most amount of people, we arrived without a booking and as expected we were told we would have to wait, approx 20 minutes or so but we could go to the bar and order drinks, before my beer was poured the waitress had found us and waited to show us to our seat. Wood fired pizza was beyond expectations and a good size. Pizza box was on hand though on leaving which meant we got to take the leftovers, the only downside was that the pizza got cold, still tasted good though. Put this place down as a must for your next Port Douglas trip.

My wife thought the pulled pork was super well balanced and made her keep eating when she was full. I had the steak sandwich and it should be pulled from the menu. The steak was hammered down to 2mm and the whole sandwich was a dry experience. I think I will try the garlic beef burger if I come again as that sounds awesome. Uber friendly staff. It's all very customer service focused. I like the big range of beer on tap, especially the Pacific Yak ale which is the best I. The world. Great free wifi and music videos and sports on screen. Edit _ the staff are super kind. They Made another meal for a 7 yo boy who dropped his meal carrying it to his table and reassured him that it happens all the time and not to worry.
