I am giving this place 5 stars for one dish and one dish only - the squid ink pasta. Honestly, I dream about this dish constantly. Perfection!nnWe got lucky and got seated without a booking at 830PM but please make a booking if you’re wanting to dine here as they are quite busy and most times cannot accommodate.nnEverything else we had were also delicious and fresh. Service was fast and efficient for a very busy environment.nnWould 110% return.
If I could rate 6 stars I would. Absolutely fantastic rib eye I actually bought two of them they were that good. The spaghetti was also fantastic. Amazing Italian red wine recommended by the writer nThe bone marrows were amazing. We had 2 glasses of wine a cocktail a corona a bread starter 2 rib eye mains 1 spaghetti main and it was 230$
The food here was all so delicious, they had authentic Italian cuisine, ultra fresh ingredients all the best flavours and combinations of foods. Make sure you leave room for dessert!
Probably my 24th visit because restaurant standards are much higher than in my beloved Palm Cove so La Cucina never ever disappointed. Super friendly service especially Francesca. Lunch was stunning. Just a cut above. Highly recommended.
Five plus for service which was excellent. Staff was very well informed and attentive. Food was very good with a decent selection of pasta and seafood options. Linguine served with the “green bugs” and other seafoods plate was amazing with the lemon/parsley/olive oil dressing. Red sauce ragu also very excellent. Pizza available in the bar area but not the dining room.nGreat wine selection with many higher quality wines. Would highly recommend this establishment for a fantastic meal with fantastic service for any meal.
