Food is absolutely delicious cocktails & deserts are too!! A wonderful experience dining in the Staff are fabulous & the Chefs are supreme. We ate there twice in 4 days & popped in just for desert on another evening!! We Highly recommend & thank you for beautiful delicious food.
I’ve only made it through one course and I must share! I’m still sitting at my table and felt compelled! That’s how good it is!nnFirst of all, the staff. I cannot stress how exceptional they are. They all clearly have their own sections, but with the intimate space they all help each other. I finished off my glass and a server from another area gladly stepped in and offered me another. They also help clear plates with one another or for small tasks. It was refreshing to see how they pitch in and help one another I’m from the US where waiting is very competitive.nnThis one dish has floored me. The seared Tasmanian Scallops. Cooked to absolute perfection with a sauce that both complimented and boosted the individual flavor! To the chefs, keep doing what you’re doing because it’s astounding!
Our favourite meal in Port. Beautiful setting amongst two big old trees, indoor outdoor dining. Delicious food and friendly professional service. Quality establishment
What an experience!! Congratulations to Melaleuca Restaurant. To Jane, who initially welcomed us with a great smile and seated us. Then to Kristen our waitress, Kristen was nothing short of sensational!! Nothing was too much trouble.nOur food was magnificent, the experience, the ambience, if you're in Port Douglas it's a must!!
A great evening in an excellent restaurant! We felt very comfortable! For us, one of the best restaurants on the east coast. Very attentive and child-friendly service! Great, innovative cuisine! Be sure you make a reservation.
