Visited this awesome little place during a weekend away in PD for Valentines with my partner. The staff was so nice and friendly. Our meals were huge and absolutely delicious but the atmosphere was just incredible. The toad racing was so fun to experience and was just so exciting. I recommend anyone going to Port Douglas to visit the IronBar Saloon, you won't regret it!

The waitress was lovely,& they did meet my allergy needs. But they forgot to mention they left the sauce off my plate because of that& I had to ask for a substitute. The food was nice, but the fried camembert serving was a bit small for the money. Again, nice to eat. But maybe not great value. Perhaps good. Nice ambiance.

Went there last night. The Iron bar burger was $19 double cheese double beef patty. I had a Aussie burger no cheese extra beef patty this cost me $22. Normal price for a Aussie burger with cheese $17. $5 extra for an beef patty. Work that out. Having said that the burger patties are the cheap frozen ones. Horrible. A grumpy waitress as well. Didn't get the drinks order right, so when asked if we could have the right drinks she grabbed them spilling drinks on the table and said something about people never been happy. Won't be going there again.

Lovely restaurant in the main street. Has an old school charm about it. Loved the decor and the chandeliers. Staff were friendly and provided a fast service. Didnt wait long for our meals which were so delicious so I recommend the Potbelly Bites and garlic bread - hit the spot. And there is a bat upstairs to chill out in and overlook the street

Lunch dining was full and, although they told us we can wait upstairs with a drink, when we went down again to enquire about seating, they said they were not going to seat us. Other than that the bar upstairs was great and the Pilsner on tap was amazingly delicious! Will definitely go back for a beer or two, but disappointed that they weren't willing to try and seat 5 people at any stage. We waited an hour even.
